Tonya and Mark Hoopes
Owner/Event Designer/Coordinator/Wedding Planner

On any given day you will find Tonya looking through Wedding or Fashion Magazines from places such as Paris, New York and Milan.  Tonya has a passion for traveling the world, fine chocolate, amazing food, shoes and handbags as well as planning and creating beautiful weddings and events that allow her clients to enjoy their event while she makes sure every detail is taken care of.   Tonya has an extensive background in the fashion and event planning industries, she started her career in Manhattan at Saks Fifth Avenue as an intern and over the next 7 years was promoted multiple times until she was responsible for several departments including designer brands such as St. John Knits, Ellen Tracy, Dana Buchman, Armani and more. She spent the next 7 years as a manager for Limited Inc. After leaving Limited she became the CEO of the National Association of Women MBAs where she was able to fulfill another passion of helping women around the world better themselves. Tonya has planned and executed well over 500 weddings and 100 corporate events for parties as small as 12 and as large as 2500. Tonya believes that each and every event deserves it's own style, excellent attention to every detail and a planner and designer who are approachable.
 

Mark is a licensed CPA and CGMA with over 25 years of experience in such diverse industries as Aerospace/Defense, Healthcare and Event Planning. In addition to his work in the Event Planning Industry, he has worked in Corporate Accounting for a Fortune 300 corporation and Financial System implementations and development. He is a member of both the AICPA and UACPA. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Hoopes Weddings and Events since its inception in April 2012.

Carrie Bunker
Corporate Events Manager

Carrie Bunker has been in the corporate events and marketing industry for over 20 years. She has worked with top clients in the market, including Mountain America Credit Union, AT&T, T Mobile, Cricket, Utah X Games, Lifetree Clinical Research, Buca di Beppo, and many others. Carrie has a passion for taking a concept and managing it from beginning to end to bring an event to life with that special touch. From corporate sales events and recognition programs, to summer and holiday company parties, Carrie brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to any event task. She will create, manage and plan the entire event.

Carrie is a graduate of the University of Utah in Public Relations and Marketing. She owns Xfluence Marketing and currently works with clients on helping them to market the event. She has owned her own company for over 20 years and now brings that knowledge and experience to the Hoopes team.

Carrie has served on several non-profit boards and committees and has won the honor of Utah Business Magazine's 30 Women to Watch as well as the prestigious 40 Under 40.

Carrie's enthusiasm and creativity is unmatched! She has a passion for what she does with any type of event and that comes through as she works with clients to customize event and deliver success!
   
Timber Manning

Timber is originally from Palm Springs, California. She understands how hectic planning a wedding or any other type of an event can be and does everything possible to help you have the event of your dreams. Timber previously worked for Lincoln Military Housing as an event coordinator where she planned military family community events. She has planned events ranging from 40 to 450 attendees. She enjoys coming up with new ideas, solving problems, and creating the perfect design. When Timber isn't busy planning, she loves to go for walks and spend time with her husband and family.
   
Hayley Aiono
Event Planner/Designer/ Coordinator

Hayley was born and raised in San Diego, California. She come's from a big family — Polynesian on her dad’s side and Amish on her mom’s. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Recreational Management in April 2016, with an emphasis in Event and Venue Management. While at BYU, she worked as the Career Fair Coordinator at University Career Services and the Executive Event Director at the Business Career Center. This gave her the chance to work with recruiters, campus entities and so many wonderful students while putting on incredible events. She also volunteered with BYU’s Student Association for 4 years, designing, planning and executing on-campus student events. She planned over 40 events, including concerts, campus parties, dances, campus forums and many more accommodating thousands and thousands of students. Planning events is her passion and she loves being able to do what she loves for work!
   
Jamie Cheney
Event Planner/Designer/ Coordinator

Jamie was born and raised in Austin, Texas. At 14 her family relocated to California, which is where her family currently lives and considers home. She is an avid traveler, and lover of designer handbags and girly things. When she is not planning events, Jamie spends all her time with Chris, her husband of a year. She spent a year and a half in Brazil as part of a church service mission, while there she became fluent in Portuguese. Currently attending Brigham Young University, she is working towards a bachelors in Tourism and Hospitality. As a youth, Jamie was often planning and designing fun parties for her friends and family. As she began exploring different career options in the hospitality industry, she stumbled upon event planning and it was a perfect fit! Since her start at Hoopes Events she has helped coordinate, decorate, and execute more than 200 weddings.

Adam Sippy

Adam grew up in Boise, Idaho, and comes from a family of six. Adam is a person you could say was raised by the wedding industry. Since he was a very young boy, you could find him assisting his mother with her wedding cake business on the weekdays. On weekends, he would assist with deliveries and meet with florists and other vendors. Large weddings and events is something very close to his heart. Adam has lived in numerous places including Texas and Hawaii and has a strong background in the hospitality industry and Audio Visual Design. He enjoys problem solving, being pushed to his limits — and learning about new trends, new skills, and anything else he can possibly learn about. When he is not busy dreaming of colors, fashion and décor, you will find him exploring the mountains or serving his community, friends and family.
